Ted Tam
President
Ted is responsible for the acquisition of new projects as well as managing the sales and marketing side of the company. His Bachelor’s degree in Business from York University gave him a solid understanding of the theory of business, but it’s mostly his 10 years of experience working for two large volume builders that helps the most. You know what they say: "experience is everything!"
John Imanse
Manager, Construction Operations
John can build an entire house with his bare hands, and says he has aspirations to just that someday (and we believe him!). For most of us, that may seem daunting, or downright crazy, but if you've seen John on a construction site, you'll know it's no exaggeration. He is loved by his customers, tradespeople, and suppliers alike. He has over 20 years of construction experience and he puts it to use each and every day.
James Marier
Director, Procurement
James is born in Calgary and raised just outside in Cochrane. Ever since his teen years, he has been fascinated by construction and architecture. Through his early adult years, time was spent developing various trade skills before becoming a SAIT graduate and seeking employment with some of Calgary top reputable builders. After spending more than a decade managing estimating and purchasing activities for Excel Homes and Trico Homes, it was time to enter a new chapter of his career. When asked what he attracted him to Tamson Developments, he said, their diversity of projects, corporate values, and desire both the business and the people to grow. In his spare time, James enjoy spending family time with his wife and 3 year old daughter the most. James also enjoy hockey, baseball, and all shooting sports.
Raj Sandhu
Marketing & Social Media
Raj has always had a passion for the outdoors and being creative in the photo and video industry. Married to his best friend, and father to his 8 month old son, Maverick. Raj has a creative background managing his media company. With his knowledge with marketing and social media, he plays a key role in showcasing the behind the scenes of the Tamson Brand. Showcasing projects from start to finish and everything in between.
Michelle Eng
Senior Estimator
Michelle was born and raised in Calgary and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary. She started her career in the construction/homebuilding industry working as a Production Coordinator and then Junior/Intermediate Estimator at Trico Homes. She has since accumulated an abundance of knowledge and technical skills, as well as over a decade of experience in the industry. She enthusiastic to be contributing to and progressing with the Tamson Developments team!
Kenny
Construction, Operation Manager
Kenny is a trusted construction professional specializing in construction management with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
Mr. Marriott has spent a large majority of his career specializing in large multifamily projects as a construction or operations manger looking after larger scale multifamily, infill construction and low rise apartment construction all over western Canada. His expertise in this area has enabled him to manage complex projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget while managing every aspect of the project effectively, from planning to construction and into service. His commitment to quality and attention to detail make him a trusted choice for clients seeking to develop multifamily properties.
Kevin Gomez
Site Assistant, Construction Development
From beginning his own renovations company in 2018 till now, Kevin is known to be a a jack of all trades. Learning from his families business to now assisting in every project Tamson builds. He is the eyes and ears on site, a problem solver who’s always willing to help.
